Inspired by 18th century French arabesque panels, I created the Coffee Arabesque to 'elevate' our everyday rituals (ritual is a very cute way to say caffeine addiction) while bringing the styling of opulent interiors into our homes.
If you're the type who uses the good china on a daily basis, you know what I mean. The banal can be oh so beautiful if we choose! Coffee stains just show you're living a little and don't learn your lesson about white shirts ( or is that just me...)
The coffee cups and latté flowers are joined by the usual culprits- croissants & jam, with some mischievous magpies stealing the spoons.
As always, these designs start with drawings, which are then handprinted on beautiful organic fabrics and sewn up locally in Montreal.
They're wash-fast guaranteed and make lovely, functional works of art for your kitchen or powder room!

The ink I use has been wash tested to withstand the true life of table linens- they can be washed and dried without hesitation and will last for years. For best results, use a good stain remover but avoid bleach. Bleach breaks down fibres and causes fabric to deteriorate rapidly.
